Grilled Tortilla Chips

I love tortillas. I love chips. I also love fitting into a bathing suit.
So... I tried this out: Grilled Tortilla Chips. Ok I made this idea up, never having even had them or heard of grilling chips before... and I must say I am super excited how delicious these were!

Super simple, super yummy, absolutely a must!
Complexity Level: Easy
Grilled Tortilla Chips
What You Need:
7-8 Large Flour Tortillas
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
1 Lime (optional)

It's a small ingredient list, because these are simple to make! While your grill heats, cut your tortillas into triangles. Brush each triangle front and back with the olive oil, then sprinkled with the salt.  Place onto the grill, and toast each side 2-3 minutes.

Remove from the grill and squeeze some fresh lime juice over the chips. I like to ad a hint of more salt with the juice, for an extra flavor enhancer.

Thats it!  So simple, but so good! My husband and I, though scared at first, ate a big bowl of these with dinner.

Thanks for grillin' up some light snacks with me!

  1. I could totally see eating these with a salad or a big bowl of homemade guacamole.

  2. lol right! I was trying to be good and not eat fried chips... and while grilling I thought "WHat the hey let's get crazy out here!" THey took maybe 2 minutes and were FABULOUS! I squirted lime juice and sprinkled sea salt on mine... girl they were not a bad thing at all! I had to make more because I ate my husbands share. SO much for the diet... but they were grilled so it's ok! Man some guac would have been perfect with these ;)
