Cheddar Bacon Country Mashed Potaotes

Do the Mash Potato, and then you add a twist!
Complexity Level:  Easy
Cheddar Bacon Mashed Potatoes
What Youe Need:
6  Potatoes, quartered
5 tbsp Butter
½ tsp Salt
1/3 cup Milk (buttermilk also great)
2 ½ cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Real Bacon Bits
½ cup Green Onions, chopped
2-3 cloves Garlic, minced

To start, boil the potatoes until fork tender, leaving skin in tact for texture and a home-style feel. Drain water, and fork mash potatoes. Add butter, milk, salt, and cheese, and blend potatoes wither using an electric mixture for creamy potatoes, or a fork mash for a rustic country style mash.

After combining the potatoes with the seasoning and dairy, fold in the bacon bits and serve hot alongside your favorite meals!
