Holidays or Anydays, these are great to have around the house!
Complexity Level: Easy
BuckeyesComplexity Level: Easy
What You Need:
2 lbs. Melting Chocolate
2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
2 Sticks Butter, Melted
4 cups Powdered Sugar
This is much easier than you think, and such a huge hit sometimes you need to double the recipe! To start, add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and melted butter to a large bowl. Mix to blend. Roll into balls and chill at least 1 hour. Chilling is important because the softer the dough, the more likely it will be to fall into the chocolate when dipping, which can become a fiasco.
To dip, melt the dipping chocolate in a double boiler. Do not get any water into the chocolate, and never microwave to melt. Both results are traumatic. When melted, dip each peanut butter ball into the chocolate and let cool on wax paper.
These are always a HUGE hit for any occasion.
Enjoy!
Since moving to the buckeye state, these surround me wherever I go. Delicious!! :)
