Wet and Dry BBQ Rubs

Mixing simple spices to wow the crowds!
Complexity Level:  Easy
Homemade Dry Rub
What You Need:
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp seasoned Salt
1 pinch Turmeric
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 Pinch Sea Salt (or table salt)
1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Mix all and use on your favorite proteins -- meats an veg options alike!


Homemade Wet Sauce
What You Need:
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp seasoned Salt
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 Pinch Sea Salt (or table salt)
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic
2 tbsp Honey
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
1 pinch Ground Cayenne Pepper (optional)
1 cup Tomato Sauce
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Hickory Liquid Smoke
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Worchestshire Sauce

In a large sauce pan, whisk the vinegar, honey, liquid smoke, brown sugar, tomato paste, soy sauce, worchestshire sauce, ans tomoato sauce.  Heat over meiudm heat to help dissolve the sugar.  Remove from heat and whisk all remaining spices in.  This is a great sauce to coat ny protein you enjoy!
