Teriyaki Shimp Quinoa Bean Salad

Absolutely Delicious and Heart Healthy!
Complexity Level:  Easy
Teriyaki N' Shrimp Quinoa Bean Salad
What You Need:
1 cup Steamed Shrimp
1 can Black Beans, drained and Rinsed
1/2 White Onion, Minced
1/4 cup Chopped Water Chesnuts
6 Chives, diced
4 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 clove Garlic, minced
3 tbsp Water
1 1/2 cups Cooked Quinoa, chilled

Cooking Quinoa is simple. Its just like rice. 1 part grains 2 parts water. Bring to boil, cover, lower to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off heat, leaving lid on, and let sit 10 more minutes. Fluff with fork, lay out to cool on a plate, and viola!

The rest is simple! I cleaned, butterflied, and steamed the shrimp, and set aside. Then throw everything into a large bowl, mix, and thats it! Simply delicious! A great filling virtually fat free meal that will make anyone who loves food smile ;)
