What You Need:
Slow Cook Ingredients:

6-8lbs Bone in Boston Butt
4 cups Water
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
1/2 tsp Ground Corriander
1 tsp Liquid Smoke
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tsp Salt

2 Onions, Quartered

1 bottle BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Apple Cider inegar
3/4 cup Drippings from the Pork
1 tbsp Hot Sauce

To start, whisk together spices, water, and vinegar.  Pour into either a crock pot or a 4-5 qt dutch oven.  Using a large knife, cut gashes into the boston butt, and place the quartered onions into the holes.  Press the pork into the water mixture, massaging the liquid into the holes.

For crock pots, set on high, and cook for 8-12 hours.  For a dutch oven, set oven to 225 and bake covered for 8-12 hours.

After cooking, the bones will fall off the meat completely cleaned, the onions can be removed, and the pork can be pulled.  Remove the pork from the liquid, saving about 1 cup of the drippings for the BBQ Sauce.  Whisk your BBQ Sauce, drippings, vinegar, sugar and hot suace and place qither back into your crock pot or into a alrge mixing bowl.  Pull the pork and coat with the sauce.

You can add honey too for an added sweetness.
