Butt Rubbed Bostons

Nothing like a good Butt Rub for Dinner!
Butt Rubbed Bostons
What You Need:
2 lbs Boston Butt, Sliced
1 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Water

In a large bowl, whisk all the ingredients but the pork.  Add to the pork, and let marinate for no less than 5 hours--it is great overnight.  Heat 2 tbsp olive oil after marinating the pork, in a large skillet.  place the pork in the heated skillet, and pour the marinade into a baking dish.  Brown the pork on each side -- about 8 minutes.  Place the now browned pork into the baking dish with the marinade, cover with foil, and bake 2 hours.  Remove from the oven, and let sit 30 minutes before serving.  This is an excellent meal that can also be cooked in a crock pot, on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 (adding 1 cup of water and 1/2 tsp salt to recipe for both).  Excellent with rice, potatoes, corn, even fresh buttered bread!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Aimee
