Grilled Italian Stuffed Portobellos

Its and amazing Italian flavor burst fresh off the grill!
Grilled Italian Stuffed Portobellos
What You Need:
4 Portobello Caps, de-stemmed
1 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 Bell Pepper, chopped
Fresh Basil
Olive Oil
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Italian Seasoning
Salt

Another simple recipe that is full of flavor!  This is great if you add Sausage or even Papperoni, and make it like a pizza stuffed portobello!  To start, heat the grill.  Clean the mushroom caps by removing the stems and scraping the gills out.  This wil make a cup like shape, giving room for stuffing!   Next, drizzle the caps with the olive oil, and sprinkle a pinch of salt over them.  PLace the basil leaves down next, about 2 per cap.  Add the minced garlic, the onions and the bell peppers.  Toss the cheese with the italian seasoning then pack it into the caps, enclosing all the ingredients.  Grill for about 8 minutes, then place the caps onto the top shelf in the grill, and let cook an additional 5 minutes.  Serve as a sandwich, as a salad topper, or as is!  These are juicy, flavorful, and plain fun to mix up the ingredients and make!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Aimee
