Strawberry Balsamic Salad

Simply put: Cheap, Flavorful, Fantastic!
Strawberry Balsamic Salad
What You Need
1 pint Fresh Ripe Strawberries
1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
Fresh (or dried) Basil
1/4 tsp Black Pepper


This is that simple. Reduce the balsamic vinegar in a skillet but simmering until syrup-like in consistency. Turn off heat, and toss fresh, washed, sliced strawberries into the mixture, along with the pepper and basil. Chill for 30 minutes. Excellent with feta tossed in, but equally delicious as is! I like served on top a bed of spinach or on a cracker (pictured)!
