1 tbsp Cinnamon
½ cup packed Brown Sugar**
¼ cup Sugar**
2 tsp Vanilla
½ cup Butter
2 tbsp Milk
2 Eggs
1 tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Cinnamon, 2 tsp sugar, and 2 tbsp melted butter (for swirling)

Icing (optional):
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Milk
2 tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Vanilla

*Gluten Free All Purpose Flour OK to use (add 1 tbsp Vanilla Extra)

In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. In separate mixing bowl, combine flour with baking soda and powder. Slowly add flour mixture to mixing bowl with egg mixture. Pour into bread pan, muffin tins, or cake pan, and swirl the cinnamon sugar mixture to make a nice color swirl. Bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes, and then drizzle with powdered sugar icing if desired. Serve warm, cold, toasted with a smear of Honey Butter (garnishes), or use for your favorite breakfast French toast!

I hope you Enjoy!

  1. This looks delicious! I love cinnamon! Icing optional? I think not! :-)

  2. I have a serious addiction to all things cinnamon! I made up this recipe craving it, and it turned out amazing! Of course icing should always be a must lol! But I guess you and I are much alike!!! Thanks for commenting ;)

  3. I love anything cinnamon! This looks really delicious, perfect for the holidays! I would totally eat this for breakfast every morning, and then later on in the day too :)

  4. It was super moist! I couldn't resist a second slice!

  5. Amalia,

I am 100% OK with eating it for breakfast and after work! This cake lasted maybe 2 day in my house (and there is only the two of us!) I think it would be great for Christmas Morning with my coffee!
